We are equipped with super powers however, most of us are not aware of it. All we need to do is just start unpacking them one at time and use them as weapons in our daily life.
Before we know it we will be rocking our best life! Blue tights and cape are optional.
We have all done it at one point or another—been the victim of the dreaded ‘green eyed monster.’
Whether it has been someone’s looks, their wealth, their social status or their success in the outer world we have all done it, myself included. Heck, I have even been guilty of envying someone’s spiritual progress thinking that they were more spiritually evolved or had more knowledge than me.
Back in the day before I started meditating I was an expert at medicating myself. I had been doing it my whole life without even realizing it.
I used to medicate myself with food, shopping and sleep. Sleep was my favorite drug of choice. When I was asleep I was in the utmost unconscious state and I did not have to feel my pain or much less face it. When everything became all too much I would just go to sleep. I did this for years until I learned how to meditate.
These are just a few little things I have learned along the way. When I have let go of these—I have experienced such liberation, joy and peace within myself.
1. Wake up and look at Facebook right away. Instead I make a perfect latte and read something spiritual to feed my soul for the day and set the tone for how for how I want it to unfold.
Yoga is a space–it is not an action.
It is not limited to an asana (pose) or a fancy arm balance, it’s a state of being—a lifestyle.
It is a way of thinking, breathing, sitting, eating, speaking, sleeping and doing.
