The Kumbh Mela is the largest spiritual gathering where millions of seekers and Hindus congregate together to pursue moksha (liberation) from the wheel of samsara, the repeating cycle of birth, life and death. Hindus gather from all over India and around the world to participate and celebrate in this massive pilgrimage of faith by bathing in the sacred rivers to be cleansed of all sins and karmas from many lifetimes.
Everyone is seeking, even if we are unaware of it.
Every day we are seeking. Seeking is a fire of the soul—the un-dying ember in our heart that keeps us alive.
I have always been a seeker, even when I did not know that I was or what it was called.
My whole life I have been searching for something more—something bigger that what I was experiencing.
I was seeking for meaning, fulfillment and the purpose of my existence.
