Being our true self takes tremendous risk and courage. By being our self we have to stand alone in our power without any fears or doubts. We have to have the audacity to trust ourselves.
These are just a few little things I have learned along the way. When I have let go of these—I have experienced such liberation, joy and peace within myself.
1. Wake up and look at Facebook right away. Instead I make a perfect latte and read something spiritual to feed my soul for the day and set the tone for how for how I want it to unfold.
Yoga is a space–it is not an action.
It is not limited to an asana (pose) or a fancy arm balance, it’s a state of being—a lifestyle.
It is a way of thinking, breathing, sitting, eating, speaking, sleeping and doing.
Life can get downright messy sometimes and we all could use some reprieve once in a while.
This day in age most of us get inundated with so much information, stimulus and the to-do-list a mile long. Everyone has busy lives and sometimes it just seems to much.
Recently I had a "come to Jesus moment" when my boss asked me how I felt about promoting sales for the food we sell being that I am a vegan.
Currently I am working in what Marie Forleo calls a “bridge job”. A job that pays the bills while I work on creating my own enterprise. I was okay with that until my boss backed me into a corner. Immediately I had to do an internal scan of whether or not this job was in alignment with my integrity and authenticity as an evolving conscious being. It clearly wasn’t and I needed to change that ASAP.
